Aks Tropique is for the person who doesn’t want to smell like everyone else in the room. It opens with something nobody expects from an oud: juicy, tangy passion fruit, lit up with saffron and Turkish rose. Then the fire arrives. Smoky oud, warm resins and soft leather pull the fruit into something darker, richer and far more grown-up. It’s sweet but never sugary, smoky but never harsh, and it has the kind of personality that makes people lean in and ask what it is. Our oud heritage runs deep, from attar shops to wedding nights. Tropique is that tradition with a modern, playful twist.

OPENING | 0–15 minutes

What you smell: A bright, tangy burst of tropical passion fruit, warmed instantly by saffron and softened by rose. Juicy and exotic, with a spiced glow underneath that hints at what’s coming.

HEART | 15 minutes – 4 hours

What you smell: The fruit meets the fire. Smoky oud rises through the passion fruit, grounded by earthy patchouli and the sweet, resinous warmth of benzoin. This is the contrast that made the original famous: fresh fruit against burning wood, and somehow it just works.

DRYDOWN | 4 hours onward

What you smell: A smooth, warm skin scent of soft leather, amber and vanilla, with a dry woody spice running through it. The passion fruit never fully disappears; it lingers like a sweet shadow over the woods. This is what stays on your shawl the next morning.

Pakistan Climate Tested:

Summer (40°C+, Lahore/Karachi conditions): Strong and long-lasting, but rich. Best saved for evenings and air-conditioned spaces, and go light on the sprays. Winter (Islamabad evenings, 10–15°C):
This is where Tropique truly comes alive. 12+ hours, with the oud and leather wrapping beautifully around warm winter layers.

Evenings/dinners: 2–3 sprays, one on the neck and one on the chest. This is a rich Extrait; less is more. Weddings/winter events: 3–4 sprays, add one to the wrists and one on your shawl or jacket for a trail that lasts all night.
